Cecily's Studio

Cecily Corcoran started drawing and painting with Ken Marlow and Lisa Semerad at an early age.

Upon receiving the Gold Portfolio with the National Scholastic Scholarship Award, Cecily attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, PA. Cecily continued her studies at Lyme Academy of the Fine Arts, CT and Bratislava Academy of the Fine Arts, Slovakia.

After spending time in many places in both Europe and US, Cecily returned to the Washigton Metropolitan area. With a desire to instruct, Cecily futhrered her studies by obtaining an Art Studio BA at GMU and Art Education License at UVA. She is currently working on her Masters at VCU and atending selected workshops for personal growth.

Since 1996, Cecily's desire as instructor is to demonstrate and encourage her students in the process of creating art.
