"My aim is to capture simple beauty. I hope to record a glimpse of this beauty before it folds into time. As I begin to create, I look for color, rhythm and balance within my subject. I then determine what is the light source, because light reveals texture and provides a mood, My composition is sketched in using these elements of color, rhythm, balance, and light. I develop my work into a representational style."
